Job/Person Summary
Due to the retirement of our current inspirational Headteacher at the end of the Summer Term 2025, we are seeking to recruit a new Headteacher for September 2025 to lead us into the future.
We are seeking an outstanding leader with the passion and drive to take our school on the next stage of its development. You will have to have a clear vision, and the skills to drive excellent learning outcomes for all our pupils.
In order to do this, you will be able to demonstrate that you can:
- Promote our school’s strategic vision.
- Further develop our curriculum that enthuses and engages pupils and staff.
- Inspire others, leading with high degree of integrity and a clear moral purpose.
- Drive high standards with all pupils and staff.
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders, pupils, parents, governing body, staff, local Trust schools and our Local Authority.
About our school:
Based on the western edge of Southampton, our large Junior school caters for children from the local area. We endeavour to provide a stimulating learning environment in which children are happy and secure in their learning. Ofsted noted that "Pupils are happy" and "They like what they're learning about." They also said that "Pupils have high expectations of themselves" and that "Pupils' work, in a wide range of subjects, is of high quality."
