A Message from Nikki Webb

Chair of Governors

As Chair of Governors, I am proud to welcome you to Fairisle Junior School. Our vision, Expect Success, sits at the heart of everything we do. We believe every child has the right to feel safe, work hard, be happy and make strong progress. Our governors fully support the school’s commitment to creating an environment where children are inspired to persevere, celebrate diversity, challenge inequality and take pride in their learning, their school and their wider community.

We work closely with school leaders to ensure that excellent teaching, high expectations and inclusive practice remain central to daily life at Fairisle. Our strategic priorities reflect our belief that every child deserves the very best opportunities—whether through outstanding classroom practice, a rich and meaningful curriculum, impeccable behaviour standards or strong character development. Fairisle is a community that celebrates success, challenges itself and strives for excellence every day.
